The 1984 debut studio album by the band was the closest thing a solo record could be without actually being a solo record. The members of the band were hand-picked by Jon Bon Jovi to record and perform Jon's vision - with main co-writing partner Richie Sambora getting writing credits on less than half of the album's tracks.
The vision was a good one as the then-22 year old and his ensemble cracked the Billboard 200, peaking at #58 and ultimately having the album certified platinum. The album was a solid hard rock effort, (even being acknowledged by Kerrang! Magazine as the 11th best rock album of 1984), and was an early glimpse at what was to come for the band in terms of success.
This is the remastered version of the album, released around 1999.
