Merzphysics is a 10 CD boxset by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. It is composed of previously unreleased recordings dating from 1995 to 1997.
The set is a sequel to Merzbow's first 10 CD box set, Merzphysics, however, Merzmorphosis focuses on "electro-psychedelic noise" from after the introduction of the EMS synthesizer into Merzbow's sound, and is described as having a resonance with techno rather than grindcore. Outtakes from Green Wheels, Pulse Demon, and Space Metalizer are included in this set.
Produced in Japan and limited to 200 total pieces, IndieMerch is the exclusive outlet for this product in the United States.
