Description:
Formed in Garden City, MI. in 1994, Universal Stomp rose from complete obscurity to completely dominate the Detroit hardcore scene in the mid to late 90's.
A roaring, metal-tinging New-York style of hardcore, these guys were metalcore before the term "metalcore" was coined.
Crushing grooves, blazing blasts of aggression and Ed's brutal vocals all made for a great experience both live and recorded.
This is the four-song E.P. released roughly a year after the band was formed. It would soon be followed up by their first full-length, "Full Swing", which would feature
re-recordings of two of the tracks found here.
Although they're not from Cleveland, we are including these guys into Two Legs Bad Music because they have been a favorite of Rob, Ron and David's for years, and they're great
guys to boot.
(Trvia: bassist Aaron Ruby now plays for Walls Of Jericho)
